Transformational Coach and Consultant in Educational Development

Having spent the whole of my professional life working in human development, I now specialise in two areas: as a Transformational Coach and as a Consultant in Educational Development.

Human life, its challenges and unfathomable potential, have always been of greatest interest to me. My personal and professional experience has heightened my desire to contribute whatever I can to the flourishing of all stages of development as we navigate our path to the fulfilment we all seek. Every stage of life presents its particular challenges, but there is no doubt that there is an increasing need in society today to find ease of being and freedom from fear at all levels of our existence. Although much of my activity falls within the field of education, I regularly work on a one to one basis with people from all walks of life and of all ages. The issues which might arise are invariably of all kinds, both personal and professional.

It is increasingly evident that people in leadership positions benefit greatly from the support of person-centred coaching to enable them to develop fully their talents and potential. My nineteen years as a headteacher offers a rich context within which to work with fellow leaders as a coach.

I also provide advice to educational leaders who are seeking to develop an authentic whole-school approach to character education, especially through spiritual and moral education. This may include sharing my extensive experience in implementing meditation and mindfulness practices in schools.

I have a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and have completed my training in a Diploma in Transformational Coaching which is accredited by the ICF (International Coaching Federation) and the AC (Association for Coaches). As a coach, I offer Life-Coaching as well as Leadership Coaching and mentoring to people within and outside the world of education.

I am a former inspector of schools and an accredited Heads’ Appraiser.

In addition to my work as a Transformational Coach and a Consultant in Educational Development, I am a Director of Education to a group of schools and a School Governor.
